Tourism, being the main kind of active leisure, keeping fit, rational spending of free time and gaining new experiences, when properly organized, can be one of the profitable branches of economy.

Russian tourism is interested in foreign investments, that is why the regional administrations strive to improve the government and business relationships, giving the opportunity to the investors to participate in the tourism sector. The contemporary Russian government is creating favorable investment climate in the country and its regions, to speed up the development of the tourist and recreation areas.

For the last couple of years, Rostov region was recognized as one of the most profitable for foreign investments regions of Russia. According to the results of the Russian regional investment appeal rating, carried out by the “Expert RA” agency and the International Bank, Rostov region was included into the ten of the regions with the minimal risk for the investments, taking the 6th place of the rating. In the nomination “For the minimal economic investment risk” Rostov region took the 2nd place, the 1st place was given to Moscow.
